BLAST OFF!

Caring for a child with special needs can feel like a journey through uncharted territory. Some days it’s an adventure…and some days it can feel kind of lonely…especially if your community isn’t well equipped to understand what it’s really like.

At Periodic Tables, we know that every person has a story to tell—and we’d like to hear yours!

If you are the parent or caregiver of a child with special needs, we’d like to invite your family to a special event on Saturday, May 27 from 3-5pm at the Historic Grove Theater (home of High Places Community Church). We’ll have food, crafts, and fun space-themed activities for the kids alongside an open table discussion for adults. We want you to walk away feeling seen, known and valued, so that, >together<, we can explore questions like:

What can the people of Oak Ridge do to create a more supportive, accessible and inclusive community for people of all abilities?
