Films will show at the Historic Grove Theater with food and conversation to follow!

With increasing cultural and political division in America the time to listen, learn, and build better understanding around our differences is right now. We believe these two films will help promote healthy conversations and showcase meaningful connections that foster belonging and unity. Pick one, or both, and come prepared to help build a better Oak Ridge.

We can't control national politics or widespread divisions that are impacting our culture, but we do have agency when it comes to how we live together in Oak Ridge. We insulate our community from division and hate by learning new skills and practicing togetherness in ways that do not isolate or erase each other’s stories. As the film festival title suggests, we are “Better Together” and we are saving you a seat at the table!
